Auch diesmal sind wir in eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft hineingeplatzt, zumindest in die Vorbereitungen, die Party fand erst statt, als wir wieder weg waren. Nur bei unserem Selbstbegr\u00fc\u00dfungs-Ap\u00e9rol in der Bar war es etwas lebhaft. Aber schon der 2. Ap\u00e9rol konnte in ruhigem Ambiente genossen werden (war \u00fcbrigens das erste Mal, das wir tats\u00e4chlich 2 hatten, jeder!). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure Mal etwas zu kurz kam, war die Geschichte des Schlosses. Die erste Burganlage stammt aus dem 12. Jhdt. und gelangte im 14. Jhdt. f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chsten 600 Jahre in den Besitz des Landgrafen von Hessen.  Im 15. Jhdt. entstand das Dorf um die Burg, die wiederum 150 Jahre sp\u00e4ter zum Jagdschlosses umgebaut wurde. Das Vogelbergsgebiet z\u00e4hlt auch heute noch zu den wildreichsten Deutschlands. Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg diente Romrod als Unterkunft f\u00fcr Fl\u00fcchtlingsfamilien und stand danach 30 Jahre leer und verfiel. 1996 \u00fcbernahm die Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz das Gem\u00e4uer und sanierte es innerhalb der kommenden 8 Jahre denkmalgerecht.2003 wurde dann auch der Schlosspark wiederhergestellt und seit 2004 residiert hier das H\u00f4tel Schloss Romrod. Und es ist einfach nur h\u00fcbsch und die K\u00fcche ist auch nicht zu verachten!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
